Bo Pelini Foundation Gift Giving Tops Half Million Mark
The Bo Pelini Foundation supports nonprofit organizations dedicated to the fight against cancer and juvenile and adult diabetes. In addition, the Bo Pelini Foundation is proud to provide targeted financial assistance to programs which advance opportunities for disadvantaged children, particularly young people growing up in Nebraska. Since the Foundation began in 2008, the Bo Pelini Foundation has donated $501,462.21 to charities and organizations that fit with the Foundation mission. The Bo Pelini Foundation is proud to have met its goal of distributing at least one-half million dollars in its first five years. More than $200,000 of the gifts have gone toward breast cancer research and care.
